All Assam Chess Association

The 33rd All Assam Chess Championship(Age Group Events) 2009, will be held at Maibela, from 7th to 12th July 2009. The tournament is organized by the Charaideo Chess Academy & Lakwa Thermal Club on behalf of All Assam Chess Association.

* Under-9 and under-11 events of this tourney were held at Puroni Gudam from 17th to 20th May 2009.

The 33rd All Assam Age Group events Under - 9 and Under - 11 was held at Purani Gudam, Nagaon District from 17th to 20th May, 2009 under the aegis of Nagaon District Chess Association with cooperation from Purani Gudam Anchalik Chess Association and Anirban Goshthi.  38 players from seven districts and three academies participated in the tournament.

* The other remaining age-group events of this tournamnent will be held at Maibela from 7th to 12th July 2009.

Nagaon District Chess Association is organizing the All Assam Age Group Under-9 and Under-11 (boys & girls) Chess Championship at Puroni Gudam, Nagaon from May 17th to 21st on behalf of All Assam Chess Association.

The 32nd edition of Inter District official tournament “All Assam Chess Championship” will be held at Hojai from 23rd May 2009 to 31st May 2009, under the aegis of Hojai District Chess Association. The tournament will be a rating one and the top four position holder of this tournament will represent Assam in the National ‘B’ Chess Championship.
