All Assam Chess Association

Circular No./AACA/2010 - 013, dated January 2010, has been issued, for the attention of all the affiliated units and recognized academies under AACA(All Assam Chess Association). Concerned bodies are hereby requested to act on it accordingly as soon as possible.

The All Assam Chess Association will host the "Women's National Challengers Chess Championship" at Guwahati, Assam from 20th to 31st August 2010.

This was revealed by the General Secretary of All India Chess Federation, Mr. DV Sundar. Talking to the media persons in the city of Guwahati Mr. Sundar intimated that all the leading women chess players of the country barring the Grand Masters would take part in the tournament.

Updates for the 3rd North East Chess championship, being held at Agartala, Tripura. The tournament was held from 5th to 10th January 2010.

Updates of 33rd All Assam Chess Championship 2009/2010 being held at Karimganj, Assam. This article will be subsequently updated.

The All Assam Chess Championship - 2009(Age groups, Women and Veteran) and the 33rd edition of Inter District official tournament “All Assam Chess Championship” will be held at Karimganj District under the aegis of Karimganj District Chess Association.
